Pam Willson, age 66, of Brookesmith passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Hendrick Hospice House in Abilene.

A Celebration of Life for Pam will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Slaymaker officiating; private interment will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Pam was born on May 12, 1956, to Harold and Barbara (Rippetoe) Thomas in Brownwood. She was the beloved baby of the family, joining older sisters, Sheryl and Debbie. Pam married Roger Willson on December 1, 1974, and remained his faithful partner for 48 years.

“Miss Pam” owned The Dance Academy in Brownwood and had the privilege of teaching dance to thousands of students for almost four decades. This was her greatest joy and accomplishment in life, and she often missed her dancing days in her later years. She was also an avid painter and enjoyed teaching watercolors to her grandchildren and gifting small paintings to her friends and co-workers.

She leaves behind her husband, Roger of Brookesmith; daughter, Alissa Downing and husband Bill of Lubbock; son, Jon Willson and wife Jolynn of Brookesmith; son, Anthony Willson of Lubbock; daughter, Daria Willson of Brownwood; and grandchildren, Kayleigh, Garrett, Wyatt, Brooklyn, and Liam. Pam is also remembered by her sisters, Sheryl Bellamy of Brownwood and Debbie Jester of Mansfield, as well as countless nieces, nephews and honorary family members she collected over the years.
