The Brownwood Lions Varsity Football team was recognized as the District 2-4A Division 1 Champions. BISD Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Sammy Burnett was also recognized as the 2022 District 2-4A Division 1 Coach of the Year. Individual academic achievements and accolades were announced and honored for each player during the December Brownwood ISD School Board Meeting this week.
