The Brown County Water Improvement District released their weekly lake level update on Tuesday morning for Lake Brownwood.

Stage 2 mandatory water restrictions are in place in Brown County meaning limit outdoor sprinkling or lawn watering and washing of automobiles to twice per week.  Check with your retail water provider for the exact restrictions that you fall under.

The Thanksgiving holiday rain raised the level at Lake Brownwood by four-tenths of a foot, to 62.7% of capacity.  This time last year the lake was at 94 percent capacity.
