James “Jim” Parker, age 64, of Brownwood passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Hendricks Medical Center Brownwood.

Graveside Services for Jim will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2022, at Greenleaf Cemetery with Curtis Schneider officiating. There is no set visitation. Arrangements under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Jim was born on April 24, 1958, to Fred and Jeanette (Pfohl) Parker in Monterey, CA. He was a long-time resident of Brownwood. He was a member of the Lutheran church.

Jim worked for and retired from Kohler after many years. After retirement, Jim was able to spend more time on the golf course playing the game he loved.

Jim he is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Penn of Brownwood; 2 grandchildren, Carly and Parker Penn; and 4 sisters, Barbara Brown of Minnesota, Jan Tisdale of Brownwood, Sandra Peach and husband Kenneth of Brownwood, and Kathleen Dohr of Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jeanette; and daughter, Delanie Parker.
