Juan B. Medrano, age 72, of Brady, Texas passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at his residence in Brady, Texas.

Juan was born May 15, 1950 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Marcial Medrano and Epimenia (Briones) Medrano.  He has been married to Ida Mireles since July of 1975.  He worked at the Brady Combing Plant for over 10 years.  He also worked for the City of Brady for several years.  He lived in Hereford for many years before moving to Brady, where he has lived for 38 years.  Juan liked to be outside, tell jokes and make people laugh.  He loved his family and spending time with them.  He enjoyed music, dancing, traveling to flea markets and his dog “Freckles”.

Funeral services for Juan Medrano will be held at 2:00pm Friday, September 2, 2022 at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady with Pastor Joe Ledezma officiating.  Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Mendoza, Nicholas Medrano, Anthony Medrano, Isaiah Medrano, Justin Medrano, Ryan Medrano, Christian Medrano and Colby Roberts.

Juan is survived by Ida Medrano, his loving wife of over 47 years; sons Chris Medrano and wife Jennifer of Brady, Texas, Johnny Medrano and wife Kellie of Brady, Texas and Steven Medrano and girlfriend Chasity of Brady, Texas; daughters Pat Delacruz and husband Hector of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Norma Faz and husband Benny of San Antonio, Texas, Jennifer Stewart and husband Paul of San Saba, Texas and Kristy Medrano and fiancé Paul Esquivel of Brady, Texas; brothers Jose Guadalupe Medrano and wife Filomena of Coleman, Texas, Jose “Nato” Medrano and wife Olga of Hereford, Texas and Mando Medrano and wife Sue of Denison, Texas; sister Mary Estrada and husband Thomas of Amarillo, Texas; 31 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Seferino Medrano, sister Bertha Paquenio and grandson Joe Anthony Cardenas.
