Brownwood Planning & Zoning Sets Public Hearing on Wireless Telecom Towers

A Special Called Meeting of the City of Brownwood Planning & Zoning Commission will be held Thursday, July 14, at 4:00 pm at Brownwood City Hall in the Council Meeting Room. The agenda is below.

The P&Z Commission may deliberate and/or act on the following items:

Call to Order

Public Hearing

Conduct a public hearing on amendments to the City of Brownwood’s zoning ordinance, Chapter 98, Article VI, Telecommunications regarding the location and placement of wireless telecommunications facilities (WTFs) and WTF towers.

It is requested that you make your views known, either in person, by writing, or by a duly authorized representative to aid the Planning and Zoning Commission in determining the proper action on this ordinance.

Action following Public Hearing

Following the public hearing, the Commission may recommend the proposed zoning ordinance amendments to the City Council for approval.
