Five Sentenced in District Court

According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, the following felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith presiding.

Michael Caraway pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) years Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Johnathan Vasquez pled guilty to the felony offense of Burglary of a Building and was sentenced to Six (6) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Valerie Lynn Waller, on probation for the felony offense of Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence, was adjudicated and sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Waller, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was adjudicated and sentenced to Fifteen (15) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Ashleigh Bush pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence – Enhanced and was sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Pedro Martinez, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to Twenty-four (24) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
