Jackie Ray Pancake, 84, of Cross Plains, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Hendricks Hospice Center surrounded by his loved ones in Abilene, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 7 at 10:00 AM at the Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, Texas with Ronnie White officiating. Burial will follow after the service at Pioneer Cemetery in Pioneer, Texas.
The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, July 6 at Higginbotham Funeral Home from 5:30 – 7:30 PM.
Jackie was born on May 26, 1938 in Pioneer, Texas to the late Lemoine William Pancake and Lola Lee Arnett-Pancake. He married Nelda Dillard on July 8, 1956, who preceded him on June 16, 2020.
Jackie was preceded by his beloved wife of 63 years, Nelda Pancake; parents, Lemoine William Pancake and Lola Lee Arnett-Pancake; 3 brothers, Edward Pancake; Bill Pancake; Johnny Pancake.
Jackie is survived by his son, Randy Pancake and his wife, Phyllis of Cross Plains, Texas; daughter, Shae White and her husband, Derrick of Cisco, Texas; son, Retired United States Marine Corps, Cody Pancake and his wife, Betty of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Pancake; Jody Pancake; Jenny Lee Pancake-Nickerson; Ashtyn White; Dawson White; Roxanne Pancake; Jacklyn Pancake and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cross Plains Volunteer EMS and Fire Department.
