Ann Bancroft, age 82, of Oklahoma formerly of Brownwood passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Ann was born on September 11, 1939, to Theodore and Myrtle Mae (Morehead) Johnson in Miller, Oklahoma. She lived and raised her three boys in Midwest City, Oklahoma, finally working and retiring as a Material Maintenance Manager at Tinker Airforce Base in Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Bancroft; her parents; and brother, Lloyd Johnson.

Ann is survived by her best friend and sister, Ozetta Benson and husband Floyd of Brownwood; three sons, Clifford Brown and wife Robin of Colorado, Michael Brown and wife Carrie of Oklahoma, and Bryan Brown of Oklahoma; grandchildren: Kyle and Monica Brown, Zachary Brown and wife Alyssa, Kensi Jackson and husband Justin, Seanna Burke and husband James, Gabriel Brown, and Nikki Melton; several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nephews, other relatives, and friends.

 

 

Graveside Services for Ann will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Jordan Springs Cemetery with Bobby Machen officiating. There will be no set visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
