Betty Templin Crump, age 73, long-time Coleman resident, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, June 12, 2022, in Post, Texas surrounded by her family.
The family will host a visitation on Sunday, June 19, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 20, in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Chas Shira officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, Coleman.
Betty June Templin was born on April 21, 1949 in Coleman, Texas, a daughter of Gus and Lela Simpson Templin. She attended school in Coleman. On June 18, 1965 she married Gary Crump in Coleman and they spent 52 happy years together until his passing on October 20, 2017. She was a homemaker and an amazing mom, granny and great granny. The love she gave to her family was unmeasurable. She enjoyed playing games and drawing with all her grandchildren just to see a smile on their faces. There was never a day that passed that she did not bow her head in prayer for her whole family. She was a member of North Coleman Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed playing with the grandkids and great grandkids, gardening, growing plants and especially loved watching birds and butterflies.
Survivors include her children, Michelle Moses and husband Ricky of Post, Gary Crump and wife Lisa of Northglenn, Colorado and Tracy Pruitt and husband Matt of Graham; a sister Martha Templin Phillips of Henderson; grandchildren, Kristen Blacklock, Justin Moses, Alexander Crump, Devin Windham, Emilee Bibby, Samantha Little, Grace Windham, Derek Baynes; great-grandchildren, Jolie Windham, Everleigh Little, Keason Little, Kambri Little, Arrowbella Pruitt, Mackenlee Davis, Ruger York, Ryder Davis, Jaxton Bibby, Emma June Bibby, Ismael Garcia, Delaina Martinez, and Cooper Baynes, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gus and Lela Templin, husband Gary Crump, two brothers Gus Templin Jr, and Joseph Daniel (J.D.) Templin; granddaughter, Stephanie Windham.
