TUSCOLA – The Brownwood Lions recorded a 25-0 shutout of Levelland Friday at the Big Country 7-on-7 Qualifier at Jim Ned. It was the first shutout recorded by the Lions this summer. They then lost to Jim Ned 20-19 in the closing seconds of their second game.
The Lions, who posted a 6-6 record in 12 state qualifier games, will continue preparations for the 2022 fall season over the next two weeks before heading to College Station for their 22nd straight 7-on-7 state appearance June 23-24 at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex in College Station.
