According to Texas A&M Forest Service Incident Information – The Forest Service responded to a request for assistance in San Saba County on the Mayfield Fire.  The fire, as of Thursday night, was an estimated 1,500 acres and 20% contained.  Additional resources, including aviation, have been requested for first thing this (Friday) morning.  According to Brady Fire/EMS, the fire is just north of Voca off of County Road 212/208.
