8:00 am Sunday Update – The Texas A&M Forest Service on Sunday morning provided the following update on the Grissom Fire, which started Saturday afternoon on County Road 108 northeast of Santa Anna.  The fire size, as of Sunday morning, is an estimated 1,200 acres.  Containment is still at 30%.  Fire activity diminished overnight.  Fire crews worked to slow fire spread last night.  Today, crews are focused on reinforcing the head of the fire and the active flanks.
