The Coleman Bluecats defeated the Stamford Bulldogs in 105 degree weather Saturday afternoon to claim the Bi-District baseball championship at Abilene High Blackburn Field.  In the best two out of three series, Coleman won the first game Friday night 7-5.  In game two on Saturday morning at 11:00 am, Stamford dominated Coleman 17-1.  But, in game three, Coleman defeated Stamford 7-4.  Coleman will advance to the Area round next week against either Forsan or Wink.  The location and other game information had not been decided as of Saturday evening.  The Bluecats are coached by Riley Edwards (head coach) and Keith Meador.
