Lana Diane Gardner, 67, of Brownwood

Lana Diane Gardner, 67, of Brownwood, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas.

She was born April 29, 1954, in Nebraska, the daughter of Robert and Lucille (Weathermon) Chew.  Following graduation, she worked as a service warranty clerk.  She had lived in Brownwood for the past 25 years.  She loved to watch television and record movies.  A favorite hobby was watching the hummingbirds and the fish in her fish pond.  She enjoyed growing roses and playing with her “granddogs”.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephany Gardner of Brownwood, son, John Gardner and wife Cheryl of McKinney, Texas, granddaughters, Veda Hall and husband T. J. Hall of Clifton, Texas, and Alexis Laderose of Orlando, Florida, grandsons, Kyle and Dylan Gardner, great-grandchildren, Amitiel Rumfield of Corpus Christi, Texas and Archer Hall of Clifton, Texas.  Also surviving are three sisters, Linda Bernard of Sunrise, Florida, Kathy Bass of Elreno, Oklahoma, and Carol Chew Melton of Norman, Oklahoma, a brother, Allen Chew of Brownwood,  a nephew and his wife, David Chew and Jayme of Brownwod, and his uncle, Donnie Weathermon, of Comanche, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Davis-Morris Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6 – 8 PM.
