Nadine M. Hinshaw, age 92, of Brownwood and formerly of Brady, passed away on February 25, 2022, at the Hendrick Medical Center, Brownwood.
She was born on January 29, 1930, in Quanah, Texas, the daughter of Wesley Olen Milson and Lylia Jacobs Milson. She had been a resident of Brownwood for the past year moving from Brady where she lived for more than thirty years. She was a Baptist and had served as a Sunday school teacher. She loved reading, doing jig saw puzzles, searching the computer, and had a special interest in butterflies.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hinshaw of Lake Brownwood, her grandsons, Wesley Huckins and Donnie Huckins and wife Carrie, her great-granddaughters, Kristen Huckins, Chelsie Bigelow, Cheyenne Huckins, Amanda Huckins, Melody Patten and husband Dylan, her great-grandson, Cody Huckins. She is also survived by her close friend, Mary Ann Barry and her companion, Sandie Sneathen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, N. B. Hinshaw, two sons, Dale and Gordon Hinshaw, and a daughter in law, Tammy Tovar.
Her body will be cremated under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Davis-Morris Chapel in Brownwood.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 23, at 3:30 pm at the funeral home chapel.
