Richard Netherton, age 56, of Brownwood passed from this life on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Mesa Springs Nursing Center in Abilene,

He was born October 20, 1965, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Fred and Wanda (Walters) Netherton.  He graduated from Brownwood High School.  He drove trucks most of his life.  His favorite joy was playing with his grandkids and watching them grow.  He will be missed by those who loved him.

He is survived by three daughters, Gabrielle Hinojosa and husband Christopher, Shaunita Gibson, Kendra Netherton, and his son, Ricky Netherton and fiance’ Gabby and nine grandchildren. Brothers and sisters include Fred Netherton III, Clifton Netherton, Shirley Partida, Mary Netherton, and Jessica Netherton.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Wanda Netherton, two sisters, Peggy Netherton and Debra Perry and a brother, Michael Netherton.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 23, at 10:00 am in the Davis-Morris Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with burial in the Zephyr Cemetery.
