New Fire Weather Watch Issued for Sunday

FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON ACROSS ALL OF WEST CENTRAL TEXAS, INCLUDING THE ENTIRE KOXE LISTENING AREA.

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Fire Weather Watch for critical fire weather conditions across all of West Central Texas Sunday afternoon.

* WINDS…South 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 12 percent.

* FUELS…Extremely Dry

* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is discouraged

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A Fire Weather Watch means that there is the potential for critical fire weather conditions.
