Jose E. Enriquez, age 84 of Santa Anna, Texas surrounded by his loving family passed to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 7:03 pm at Songbird Lodge in Brownwood.

The family will receive friends for a celebration of life and visitation on Wednesday from 2:00 till 3:30 pm at Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna.

He was born Jose Emeterio Enriquez on March 12, 1938 in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico to Enemisio and Hermila Moreno Enriquez.  Jose was raised in Santa Barbara where he attended school.  On March 9, 1966 he married the love of his life Julia Garcia in Corpus Christi, Texas and they celebrated 56 years of marriage.  They then moved to Santa Anna, Texas where they have since lived and raised their six children.

Jose was a member of the Catholic Church and worked many years for the Santa Fe Railroad as a trackman until his retirement.  He enjoyed music and dancing and the restoration of Antique cars.
