The Brownwood Lions improved to 3-4 in district soccer competition (6-10-2 overall) with a 1-0 victory Friday night over the Graham Steers at Gordon Wood Stadium. It was the first win in the past four matches for Brownwood. The Lions broke a scoreless tie with 7:32 left in the first half as Noah Barron scored on a header off a corner kick from Caleb Nelson. The Lions are back in action at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 11 when they host Mineral Wells in the final home game of the regular season.
