Early Voting Ends Week One, Continues on Tuesday

According to Brown County Elections Administrator Larry Franks, there was a turnout of 17 Democrats and 323 Republicans for a total of 340 early voters on Friday, February 18.  This was the highest daily voter turnout for the first week of early voting.  “In total for the week, we had 47 Democrats and 1,249 Republicans turn out to vote for a total of 1,296.”  Franks said.

Monday the 21st will be a holiday (Presidents Day) so the Elections Office will be closed.  Hours to vote early on Tuesday and Wednesday will be 8 to 5 and Thursday and Friday will be 7 to 7.  Election Day the 1st of March will also be 7 to 7.
