The Board of Directors of Brownwood Municipal Development District will meet Tuesday, February 15, at 1:30 pm at Brownwood City Hall, Council Chambers, 501 Center Avenue. The posted agenda is below.

Item 3. Introductions, Announcements and Recognitions.

Item 4. The Board will consider approval of the minutes:
A. BMDD regular board meeting – January 18, 2022
B. State of the City Luncheon – January 21, 2022

Item 5. Consideration and possible approval of a Municipal Advisory Agreement with Hilltop Securities.

Item 6. Consideration and possible approval to fund up to $25,000.00 for a parks master plan by Halff Associates.

Item 7. Consideration and possible approval to create the Downtown Retail Opportunity Program.

Item 8. Presentation of the BMDD annual report.

Item 9. The Board will review the following reports:

Item 10. The BMDD Board may convene into a closed executive session in the
Haynes Conference Room, pursuant to the provisions of the Open
Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code Vernon’s Annotated, in
accordance with the authority contained in the following section:

Section 551.071 – Consultation with Attorney
Section 551.087 – Deliberations regarding economic development negotiations

A. Discussion of possible incentives for the Brownwood Hotel project.
B. Event Center legal discussion.
C. Trafalgar Homes incentive agreement legal discussion.

Item 11. The Board will reconvene into Regular Session in the City Council Chambers to
take any action deemed necessary as result of the Executive Session.
