GORDON WOOD STADIUM – The Brownwood Lady Lions defeated the Lady Blues from Graham 3-0 Friday night in District 4-4A soccer. This was the district opener for both teams. Addison Pesina scored the first goal for the Lady Lions. Kennedi Johnson found the net a few minutes later. The final goal came before halftime when Molly Oliver scored. Watch the Lady Lions play Mineral Wells at 5:30 pm Tuesday, February 15 at Gordon Wood Stadium.

The Lions soccer team picked up a 3-2 District 4-4A victory over the Graham Steers. The Lions got off to a 1-0 lead on a Noah Barron goal off a penalty kick. The Steers pulled ahead 2-1 before Brownwood got their second goal from Caleb Nelson to tie the game. The game winning goal for the Lions was kicked by Barron. The 1-0 Lions will host Mineral Wells at Gordon Wood Stadium this coming Tuesday night at 7:30 pm, following the Lady Lions match.
