According to District Attorney Micheal Murray,  a felony case was recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith, presiding.

Joe Willie Zapata, III, pled no contest to the felony offenses of Obstruction/Retaliation and Continuous Violence Against the Family and was sentenced to Eight (8) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
