Members of the May Tiger football team that participated in the 6-Man State Championship football game in December at AT&T Stadium in Arlington were honored Monday morning at the Adams Street Community Center during a scheduled meeting of Brown County Commissioners. One by one, each player, cheerleaders, trainers and coaches were called to receive certificates from County Judge Paul Lilly and a small gift from North Lake Community Church in May. Members of the May community also attended to honor the team. The rest of the County Commissioners meeting did not occur due to lack of a quorum.
