Leta Lu Huff, age 83, of Austin, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in the Seton Hospital in Austin.

She was born July 11, 1938, in Abilene, Texas, the daughter of V. T. and Jane (Stinson) Huff.  Following graduation from high school, she graduated from Howard Payne College in Brownwood.  She was an owner of a retail store and had lived in Austin since 1971 having formerly lived In Brownwood.  She was a Baptist by faith.

She is survived by her two daughters, Margaret Spellings and husband Jaime of Dallas and Laura Burns and husband Phil Rogers of Austin.  Four grandchildren, Dan, Paul, Henry, and Sarah also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, February 8, in the Davis-Morris Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home in Brownwood with burial to follow in the Heflin Cemetery.
