Carilon Sue Ewing, 78, of Coleman

Carilon Sue Ewing, age 78, of Coleman, died Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Coleman County Medical Center.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Ken Smith, pastor of the Feed Store Church in Santa Anna, officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

Viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Carilon Sue Campbell on January 6, 1944, in Coleman to Adolphus Campbell and Dorothy Baker Campbell. Sue grew up in Coleman where she attended school. She married Jerry Ewing on April 30, 1977. She enjoyed gardening, farming, and taking care of her animals. Sue was a member of the Feed Store Church in Santa Anna. Her kindness and loving spirit will be missed.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Adolphus and Dorothy Campbell, and her husband, Jerry Ewing.

She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Harper of Coleman, Dorothy Jean Waldrup of Trinity, and Debra Phares of Coleman; one brother, Jerry Campbell and wife Elizabeth of Coleman; and multiple nieces and nephews.
