Jane Boyd, age 87 of Star, Texas passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022.
Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 28th at the Hurst Ranch Cemetery.
Jane was born on June 23, 1934 in Colby, Kansas to Herman and Olive Kersenbrock. She graduated from Colby High School. Jane married Russell Boyd on September 15, 1955 and began a life together that blessed them with 5 children. She enjoyed outdoor activities, spending time with her family and playing cards. She always welcomed you with a beautiful smile, and treasured times when her family were all together. Jane was loved in her community and always a friend to those in need. She was a member of the Star Baptist Church.
Christ like attributes include, service to anyone that needed a helping hand, love for her family and faith in her Savior Jesus Christ.
Jane is survived by her children, Kelly Jurek of Hamilton, TX, Steve Boyd and wife Liz of Connell, WA, Chuck Boyd of Goldthwaite, TX, Bruce Boyd and wife Charlette of Hamilton, TX and Kristi Taylor of Goldthwaite, TX; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Russell Truman Boyd in 2013; father Herman Charles Kersenbrock and mother Olive Coyle Kersenbrock.
