Dewayne E. Perry, age 62 of Bangs passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

The family will host a graveside memorial service at a later date.  Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dewayne was born to Sue and Truman Perry on April 20, 1959 in Odessa, Texas. In his earlier years, he served over seas in the United States Army. When he returned home, Dewayne worked in the Maintenance department at B.I.S.D. for many years until retirement. Dewayne loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the American Legion, and a lifelong member of the NRA and VFW.

Dewayne is survived by his mother, Sue Perry; siblings, James Perry and wife Chris, Tammy Garcia and husband Val, Ron Young and wife Jean. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Truman Perry; grandparents, Perry Lancaster, Gladys Lancaster, Ruth Bivens, and T.T. Perry.
