A Candidate Forum will be held on Tuesday, February 8, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Victory Life Church in Brownwood.  According to Robert Porter, Brown County Republican Party Chairman, the forum will give local residents a chance to learn more about each candidate prior to the March 1st Primary Election.  Local Brown County candidates and those running for District 10 State Senate and District 68 State Representative are invited.  Questions will be asked of each candidate.  The public is invited to attend.

Important dates to keep in mind for the upcoming election:

Monday, January 31 – Last Day to Register to Vote
Monday, February 14 – First Day of Early Voting
Friday, February 18 – Last Day to apply for Ballot by Mail (Received, not postmarked)
Friday, February 25 – Last Day of Early Voting
Tuesday, March 1 – Primary Election Day, polls open 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
