Parade of Cold Fronts This Week, Strongest Thursday Morning

cold-2

From KOXE Meteorologist Randy Turner:  A series of three cold fronts, none producing rain, will make their way through the KOXE listening area over the next five days.  The first front will arrive early Wednesday morning and should drop temperatures by about 10 degrees, compared to Tuesday.

The second front is very strong and is forecast to arrive early on Thursday morning.  This front should drop temperatures another 20 to 25 degrees.  Expect a high near 40 Thursday with gusty north wind and wind chills in the 20’s during the day.   Thursday night low temperatures will once again plunge to 18-20.

Temps then warm into the upper 50’s Friday and soar back to the middle 70’s on Saturday before the third front of the week arrives Sunday morning and drops highs back into the 50’s.

Expect temperatures to remain in the mid to upper 50’s early next week with nightly lows upper 20’s to low 30’s.
