From KOXE Meteorologist Randy Turner – The strongest cold front of the season is forecast to arrive in the Brown County area between 4 and 7 pm Saturday evening.  After a high temperature near 70 Saturday afternoon, expect temperatures to drop about 10 degrees per hour immediately after the front arrives.  The temperature, by sunrise Sunday morning, is expected to hover around 20 degrees.  On Saturday night, expect the temperature to be below freezing from about 10 pm through Noon on Sunday, roughly 15 hours of temperatures below freezing.

On top of that will be North wind of 20 to 30 mph meaning the wind chill, or feels-like temperature, Sunday morning will be between 5 and 10 degrees.  High temps on Sunday will hover around 40 degrees then plunge back down to near 20 on Sunday night into Monday morning.

Make sure outdoor faucets are covered and insulated, pets have plenty of food and water and shelter from the cold.  Livestock could use some extra hay and feed too.
