Roger Leroy Thomison, age 49, of Santa Anna, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at his home.

He was born June 28, 1972, in Austin, Texas, the son of Ronnie and Lessie (Day) Thomison.  He graduated from high school in Llano, Texas.  He was married to Sophia James in Coleman and had worked as a painter most of his life.  He was a Baptist by faith.  He had been a resident of Santa Anna for the past two years moving from Bangs.

He is survived by his wife, Sophie Thomison of Santa Anna, four daughters, Kirsten O’Neal, Tara Thomison, Sara Thomison-James, and Brooke Allen, two sons, River Thomison and Zachary Allen.  Three brothers, Ronald, Randy, and Terry Day also survive as well as a grandchild, Cheyene Huesman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Rhonda Thomison and a brother, Russell Thomison.

As per his request, his body was cremated, and no public services will be had.  Services entrusted to the care of Heritage Funeral Home, Davis-Morris Chapel of Brownwood.
