The Coleman Bluecats take on the Post Antelopes tonight in the Class 2A Division 1, Region 1, Area Championship. Game time is 7:00 pm at Colorado City. Tickets are cash at the gate, $5 adults, $2 students.  Audio and video of the game will be streamed on KOXE.com.

Post picked up a 46-14 win over Farwell last week, the fourth straight win for the Antelopes following a 1-6 start. Post has lost to Tolar (48-0), Forsan (22-6), Littlefield (21-20), Abernathy (33-7), Sundown (7-0), and New Deal (35-6).  The Antelopes have regular-season wins over Slaton (25-19), Floydada (42-0), Hale Center (48-30), and Tahoka (62-0).

The Antelopes average 24 points and 259 yards – 220 rushing and 39 passing – per game, while giving up 21 points per outing with 17 takeaways on the season.

Coleman has played Post four times, previously being district foes. The teams met in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. The series is tied 2-2.
