Angela Carolyn McCarty, 61, of Brownwood, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021.

A Celebration of Life service is planned at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 21, 2021 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.

Angie was born June 3, 1960 in Brownwood, Texas to J B and Ina Mae Rice.  She graduated from Brookesmith ISD and was blessed with two daughters.  Angie met Jerry Spencer May 6, 1993 and they were blessed with over twenty-five years together.  She spent her life as a homemaker and loved to spend time around family and friends.  Her hobbies included being outside, helping people.  She adored her grandkids and enjoyed all the time she spent with them.  She had a green thumb and a love for animals so she cared for her plants and loved sitting and watching her cows.  She will be loved and missed by all the ones whose lives she touched.

Angie is survived by her daughters, Leslie Paschal and husband Kayson and their children Adalyn and Gracie of Bangs, & Joanna McCarty of Brownwood; Maegan Spencer and children, Tristyn, Mason & Nathan of Abilene, Amanda Liske and husband David and their children, Tyler, Jordan & Robert, Breanna Spencer and children, Ayah, Jayton & Quai, Adrianne Spencer and children, Justin, Alex & Zayden, and the children of Jessica Ball, Ashlee, Crysta, Erica and Loren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Angie was preceded in death by the love of her life, Jerry Spencer; father, JB Rice Jr.; mother, Ina Mae White; step-daughter, Jessica Ball; and step-son, Jayton Spencer; sister, Vickie Lee Rice; brother, James Earnest Rice.
