The girls high school basketball season is underway and the Brownwood Lady Lions got off to a positive start beating the Eastland Lady Mavs 56-29.  The Lady Lions travel to Merkel for a 6:15 p.m. contest Friday.  The next home game at Warren Gym is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday against Lake Belton.
