Maribel Franco Garza, age 57 of Brownwood Formerly of Brady, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood.

Funeral Mass will be said at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Rosary will be held 6:00 PM, Monday, October 18, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Home Davis-Morris Chapel,

Visitation will be at 7-8:00 PM after the rosary is said on Monday, October 18, 2021.

Maribel was born September 9, 1964 in Brady, Texas daughter of Francisco And Mercedez Franco Garza. She married Fidenzio Garza, Sr., whom she later divorced. She worked at the school cafeteria in food service. Maribel was a very active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church including her prayers, spending time with her grandkids, gardening, taking care of her plants and cooking, baking cakes.

son: Fidenzio Garza, Jr. and his wife Cera of Lubbock

daughters: Roxanna Rodriguez and husband Rogelio of Early

Tiffany Martinez and husband Clemente of Brownwood

4 grandchildren: Emily Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez, Esmeralda Martinez and Wesley Garza

1 brother: Frank Garza Jr. of Tyler

3 sisters: Rose Sanchez of Brownwood

Gricelda (Chris) Valdez and husband Tony of Brownwood

Rommelia Gonzales and husband Hector of Stephenville

Preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter Anna Rodriguez
