BRADY – According to a Facebook post by the Brady Police Department – On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the Brady Police Department attempted to stop a southbound vehicle for speeding at 6th and Bridge Street. The vehicle failed to stop and ran from the BPD officer.
The vehicle eventually came to a stop at 10th and Wall. One of the vehicle’s occupants attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended quickly.
As a result of the stop, six undocumented immigrants from Honduras were detained and transported to the McCulloch County Jail. Many of the individuals in the vehicle had multiple forms of conflicting identification. Border Patrol has placed a hold on the detainees.
