The following calls were answered by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.

On Monday, October 4, Deputy Fabbiani was notified of fraud, or fraudulent use of credit or debit card information. It was reported on East Hall Street in Bangs. The fraud pertained to a woman receiving money for “services” from a man. A report has been made.

On October 4, Deputy Smoot spoke with a witness to an illegal dumping call on County Road 310 off County Road 292. Pertinent information was gathered about the incident and a report was completed.

On October 4, Deputy Toby Mathis observed a vehicle on the side of the road in the 16000 block of CR 117. A consent search of the vehicle was conducted and the female passenger was placed in custody for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1<1g.
