Funeral services for Marion Kenneth Johnson Sr., age 80, of Early, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 24, 2021 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.

Marion passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

Marion was born on December 1, 1940 in Virginia to Theodore and Florence Johnson. He had three sisters and one brother. He married the love of his life Ruby Grace Caldwell in June 1961. Marion loved nature from hunting and fishing to watching birds at his feeders. He was able to do anything once he set his mind to it.  He was a hard worker and always gave 100 percent. He was always willing to help others. He read his bible daily and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Marion is survived by his son, William Sam Johnson and wife Brenda, one granddaughter Elisabeth Grace Johnson, and 4 bonus grandchildren Jennifer Woods, Ben Woods, Lindsey Woods, and Garrett Woods.

He was preceded in death by both parents, brother, wife, and son Marion Kenneth Johnson Jr.
