The Board of Directors of Brownwood Municipal Development District will meet Tuesday, August 17, at 1:30 pm at City Hall Council Chambers. The posted agenda is below.

The proceedings of the meeting will be as follows:

Item     3.   Introductions, Announcements and Recognitions.

Item     4.   The Board will consider approval of the minutes:

1. BMDD regular board meeting – July 20, 2021

Item     5. Discussion and possible approval of the BMDD 2021/2022 budget.

Item     6.  The Board will review the following reports:

1. Checklist – July
2. Income Statement – July
3. Loan and Incentive Summary – July
4. Sales Tax – Paid in August
5. Unemployment numbers
6. Project Updates and Activity

Item     7.         The BMDD Board may convene into a closed executive session in the

Haynes Conference Room, pursuant to the provisions of the Open

Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code Vernon’s Annotated, in

accordance with the authority contained in the following section:

Section 551.071 – Consultation with Attorney

Section 551.087 – Deliberations regarding economic development negotiations

1. Discussion regarding a possible incentive for a new business.
2. Discussion regarding a possible parking lot incentive for a business near Downtown Brownwood.
3. Discussion of a Building Improvement Incentive Program grant for a downtown business.

Item  8.  The Board will reconvene into Regular Session in the City Council Chambers to

take any action deemed necessary as result of the Executive Session.
