Frank Keith Martin, age 70, of Brownwood passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, at home.

Memorial Services for Frank will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Frank was born on December 4, 1950, to John and Carolyn (Winningkoff) Martin in Stanton, Texas.

Frank was affectionately known as the “Scorpion King”, because of the wire scorpions he made and sold. He was also known for hanging around Food Plaza visiting with everyone he could; Frank never met a stranger. He had a heart of gold, he loved all people and children, but most of all he loved his family deeply.

Frank is survived by his sister, Debbie Douglas of Brownwood; half-sister, Floratta Jones of Coleman; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Martin; mother, Carolyn Dodson; stepfather, Harvey Dodson; sister, Celeste Martin; and brother, Terral Martin.
