Clarence Henry Reeves of San Saba Co.

Clarence Henry Reeves was born on July 19, 1947, and passed through the veil to God’s promise on August 1, 2021, after fighting for eight years to survive.  Henry was born to Clarence and Emma Madeline Yarbrough Reeves in San Saba, Texas.

He married the love of his life, Sharon Terry in January of 1969.  Together they have three children, Brian, Kimberly, and Terry and grandchildren and light of PaPa’s life, Jeremiah and Braiden Reeves.

Henry was an avid Aggie (’69) and was allergic to the color burnt orange.  He found a great deal of joy reading Aggie websites and following all of their games, no matter what sport.  His day started with a daily update on Aggie happenings.  He spent his work life teaching school and still taught us the art of perseverance until his last breath.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, a brother who died at birth, Junior, Warden and Martha Roe Terry, who he said was the best in-laws anyone could ask for.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon, Brian (Natasha, Jeremiah, and Braiden), Kimberly and Terry (Mark).  Also surviving him are siblings Melba Temples, Sheila Martin (Buck), Bruce Reeves, and special cousin and fellow Aggie, Jonnie Reeves (Lynn), and Rocky Terry (Loydene).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, become an organ donor, or contribute to the San Saba County Memorial Aggie Scholarship.

Live life to the fullest, never go to bed angry, and always tell those you love how much they mean to you.  Special thanks to Dr. Ernest Haeusslein and his team, as well as super nurse Teidra Nealy.
