Funeral services have been set for a Brown County resident who rose to fame as star of the A&E reality television show, American Hoggers.

Jerry Dean Campbell passed away Monday, July 26, at the age of 74. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 28 at Heritage Funeral Home Davis-Morris Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 29 at Jenkins Springs Cemetery.

American Hoggers aired for four seasons as 41 episodes were produced from 2011-2013.  The program chronicled the Campbell family, who at the time had hunted hogs for more than 40 years, in their attempts to control the population growth of feral hogs. Campbell, who worked for the Department of Interior as a federal hunter, was attempting to transition his children, Robert and Krystal, into taking over his role as company head as the show’s premise.
