It is with great sadness that the family of Josephine Gray announce her passing on Friday, May 28, 2021. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family at the age of 75.

Josephine was born on Tuesday, April 2, 1946 in Cotter, Arkansas to Harrison and Liba Bel Casey.  She married Calvin Gray on April 11, 1963 and began a life together that blessed them with 2 children.  They were happily married for 58 years.  Josephine was a Teacher’s Aide for Brownwood ISD for many years and also donated much of her time with various charities.

She is survived by her husband Reverend Calvin Gray of Brownwood; son Danny Gray of Brownwood; daughter Angela Davis of Huffman; and grandson James Coffey of Bertram.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Central Baptist Church, 1401 Brady Ave. Brownwood, Texas 76801.
