The Board of Directors of the Brownwood Municipal Development District will meet at 1:30 pm Tuesday, May 18, at City Hall Council Chambers. The posted agenda is below.
The proceedings of the meeting will be as follows:

Item 4. The Board will consider approval of the minutes:
- BMDD regular board meeting – April 20, 2021
Item 5. Discussion and possible approval of a park improvement project at Wiggins Park.
Item 6. The Board will review the following reports:
- Checklist – April
- Income Statement – April
- Loan and Incentive Summary – April
- Sales Tax – Paid in May
- Unemployment numbers
- Project Updates and Activity
Item 7. The BMDD Board may convene into a closed executive session in the
Haynes Conference Room, pursuant to the provisions of the Open
Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code Vernon’s Annotated, in
accordance with the authority contained in the following section:
Section 551.071 – Consultation with Attorney
Section 551.072 – Deliberation Regarding Real Property
Section 551.087 – Deliberations regarding economic development negotiations
- Discussion regarding a Building Improvement Incentive Program (BIIP) and infrastructure grant application for a downtown business.
- Discussion regarding the possible purchase and improvements of a parking lot in Downtown Brownwood.
Item 8. The Board will reconvene into Regular Session in the City Council Chambers to
take any action deemed necessary as result of the Executive Session.
