Kay Dell Simpson, 94, of Brady, Texas passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 in Abilene, Texas.

Private Graveside Services will be Thursday, May 6, at 3:00 pm at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady.

She was born March 2, 1927 in Marshall, Texas to Dell S. Ray and Della (Merryman) Ray.

She married S.H.”Red” Simpson on February 13, 1947 in Brady. She attended First Baptist Church in Brady and was an elementary school teacher.

Daughter – Linda Maikell and husband Steve of Sweetwater
Granddaughter: Shadna Wise and husband Brad of Austin
Grandson: Jonathan Maikell and wife Jennifer of Farmington Hills, Michigan
Great-granddaughter: Reagan Wise of Austin

Preceded in death by: her parents, husband Red Simpson, son W.R. “Bill” Simpson and grandson Steven Maikell
