Some area lakes are rising thanks to beneficial rain this week. According to waterdatafortexas.org, Lake Brownwood has gone from 82.7% full two days ago to 87.9% full Friday morning. Other area lakes and current status are:
Lake Coleman – from 83.3% full two days ago to 84.2% full Friday.
Lake Leon – from 89.0% full two days ago to 92.6% full Friday.
Lake Proctor – from 95.5% full two days ago to 100.00% full Friday.
Hords Creek Lake – from 50.0% full two days ago to 50.3% full Friday.
O.H. Ivie – from 60.0% full two days ago to 60.5% full Friday.
With more heavy rain in the forecast for the entire area Friday and Saturday, lakes may continue to see an increase in elevation.
