The 24^th Annual Goldthwaite State Championship BBQ and Goat Cook-off is this weekend, Friday April 23^rd and Saturday, April 24^th, at the Goldthwaite City Park.

Events include a Lions Club Fish Fry Friday afternoon, Color Me Crazy 5K or 1K Run on Saturday morning, kids’ pork chop contest Friday night, washer tournament on Saturday night and a Dance in the Park under the stars Friday with Jody Lee & Jeb Bridges and the Zak Webb Band.
