Five Sentenced in 35th District Court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Monday afternoon regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith:

Demory Wilson pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Wilson pled guilty to the state jail offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 2 years Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Larry Pierson, Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of Evading Arrest, and two separate felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 12 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Robert Hugh Duncan pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Kionte Squires pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Michael Lee Rawls, on probation for the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, was revoked and sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Rawls, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
